I’m Nigel Bates, and my journey in homebuilding began back in the early 1980s when I constructed my very first house in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. That experience sparked a passion that’s stayed with me ever since. Over the decades, my family and I have had the privilege of building and renovating hundreds of homes throughout the Western New York region—a place we’ve come to call home and truly cherish. From the rolling hills to the vibrant communities, this region has blessed us with so much, and I feel fortunate every day to give back by helping families create spaces they can love and thrive in.

At Buffalo Modular, my mission is simple but heartfelt: to build great homes at fair prices. I’ve always believed that a home is more than just a structure—it’s where memories are made, where families grow, and where life unfolds. With years of hands-on experience behind me, I still wake up excited to tackle each new project.
