Townline Chalet

This young family home has been converted to suit their exact needs. We turned the orientation of the house and made it into a chalet with the view side facing the back of their property. With this layout, and the driveway on the right side of the house the door on the other side (what was the front of the house) became unnecessary, which allowed us to use that space to make the dining/bedroom a little bigger. With the main entrance of their house coming from the side, we reconfigured that entry space to convert it into more of a foyer. BMH will be finishing some of the loft area and walling off the remaining space for the homeowners to finish in the future as needed. This allows for a great common space on the first floor and a loft space to look out over the property. They will do their own deck and garage down the road, when they’re ready. The house will be a perfect fit for them to grow into as the years go by!
